Bundling BT’s Broadband For Businesses
It’s possible that broadband providers could make a healthy living simply by selling broadband services to consumers. Why limit themselves though? Businesses need broadband as well, and they need it to perform different tasks, so it makes sense to offer broadband specifically aimed at them.
BT Business Broadband was voted the best broadband for businesses in the 2011 V3 Technology Awards, a fact that is proudly displayed on its website for all to see. The reasons why someone wins an award like this are never really gone into, but the simplicity and competitive pricing of the two deals that the company offers must surely be two reasons why it ended up at the top of V3′s list. The two deals, Basic and Unlimited, are clearly aimed at different sizes of company if accessing the internet is not a particularly vital part of your business, you’d be better off going for the cheaper Basic package, which offers 10GB of data allowance every month. However, if your business uses the internet heavily, the Unlimited package offers an unlimited amount of data usage every month but is, obviously, more expensive. A BT Business Hub is available for an extra fee with each package.
A big part of any telecommunications service provider is the ability to offer bundles of their services so that customers can take advantage of all their services at once and save money at the same time, rather than getting three separate services. BT broadband bundles are available to both consumers and to businesses, and they usually concentrate on providing more with one or two services and cutting back on others (such as offering unlimited broadband but only offering free calls in the evenings and at weekends), meaning that customers can narrow down the bundle that’s best for them based on what they really need.
